Description
The Sargent 80 Series WD8615E is a heavy-duty exit device engineered for metal doors in commercial and institutional buildings. Designed for left-hand reverse (LHR) doors with 32D finish, this rim-mounted device exceeds ANSI/BHMA Grade 1 requirements and provides maintenance-free security with modular construction and few moving parts. Ideal for facilities requiring durable, code-compliant egress hardware.
This model fits metal doors 1 3/4" to 2 1/4" thick and requires a 4 1/2" minimum stile width. Rail size depends on door width: E-rail (24-32"), F-rail (33-36"), J-rail (37-42"), or G-rail (43-48").
