The Sargent 80 Series WD8615G is a heavy-duty exit device engineered for metal doors in commercial and institutional buildings. Exceeding ANSI/BHMA Grade 1 requirements, this left-hand reverse rim-mounted device delivers durable security with minimal maintenance, modular construction, and few moving parts ideal for facilities demanding long-lasting performance.
The WD8615G fits metal doors 1 3/4" to 2 1/4" thick and uses field-selectable E, F, J, or G rails sized to your door width (24" to 48"). Includes 650 top and 606 bottom strikes rated for panic and fire egress. Optional electric features like delayed egress, alarmed exit, latch monitoring, and remote retraction accommodate specialized applications.
