The Sargent 80 Series WD8643E is a heavy-duty exit device engineered for metal doors in commercial and institutional buildings. This rim-mounted panic bar exceeds ANSI/BHMA Grade 1 standards for cycle and strength, delivering maintenance-free operation with modular construction and minimal moving parts ideal for high-traffic facilities requiring dependable emergency egress.
This unit mounts to 1 3/4" minimum thickness metal doors and fits door widths 24" to 32" using the E rail configuration. Optional features include delayed egress, alarms, photoluminescent coatings, and electric latch retraction.
