The Sargent 80 Series WD8673E is a heavy-duty exit device engineered for commercial buildings requiring Grade 1 security and reliability. Designed for metal doors 1-3/4" to 2-1/4" thick with right-hand reverse (RHR) configuration, this rim-mounted device exceeds ANSI/BHMA Grade 1 cycle and strength requirements. Its modular construction and minimal moving parts ensure maintenance-free operation throughout the building's life.
This 24V model accommodates door widths 24" to 48" with factory-cut rails and includes a 650 top strike and 606 bottom strike for panic and fire-rated applications. Compatible with optional electric features including alarm, beacon, photoluminescent coating, and delayed egress systems.
