The Sargent 80 Series exit device is a Grade 1 panic hardware solution designed for commercial buildings requiring durable, low-maintenance egress security. Built with modular construction and few moving parts, it easily exceeds ANSI/BHMA standards for cycle and strength, making it ideal for metal doors 1-3/4" minimum thickness in applications ranging from standard commercial to schools and accessible facilities.
This LHR (left-hand reverse) model fits door widths 37-42" using the J rail and mounts at 41" centerline from finished floor. Compatible with rim, mortise, and vertical rod configurations, it supports optional features including delayed egress, alarmed exit, and electric latch retraction.
