The Sargent 80 Series WD8674E-24V is a heavy-duty exit device engineered for commercial facilities requiring durable, life-of-building security. This 24-volt electric model exceeds ANSI/BHMA Grade 1 strength and cycle requirements, with modular construction and minimal moving parts for maintenance-free operation. Ideal for metal doors 1.75 inches minimum thickness, it accommodates door widths 24 to 48 inches with available rail sizes E, F, J, and G.
The WD8674E-24V supports electric options including alarm, photoluminescent coating, illuminated touchpad, latchbolt monitoring, delayed egress, and remote latch retraction. Standard dogging via hex key is included on non-fire-rated versions. Mounting uses supplied machine screws; centerline height is 41 inches (38 inches for elementary schools with auxiliary controls).
