The Sargent 80 Series exit device is a heavy-duty panic hardware solution designed for commercial facilities requiring ANSI/BHMA Grade 1 certified egress security. This mortise-mounted device with right-hand reverse (RHR) configuration and J-rail (37-42 inch doors) delivers superior cycle strength and durability with minimal maintenance, ideal for metal doors 1.75 inches or thicker.
The 1943-MD8606J includes a 650 top strike and 606 bottom strike rated for panic and fire-rated applications. Modular construction accommodates optional electric features such as delayed egress, alarmed exit, electric latch retraction, and photoluminescent or illuminated touchpad coatings.
