The Sargent 80 Series exit device is a Grade 1 panic hardware solution engineered for metal doors in commercial and institutional facilities. This left-hand reverse, rim-mounted device combines durability with minimal maintenance, featuring modular construction and few moving parts to exceed ANSI/BHMA standards for cycle strength and security throughout the building lifecycle.
Designed for 1-3/4" minimum door thickness with multiple rail options (E, F, J, G) to fit door widths 24-48", this device installs with supplied machine screws and mounts 41" from finished floor. Compatible with 650 top and 606 bottom strikes, it supports optional features including delayed egress, alarm functions, photoluminescent coating, and electric latch retraction.
