The Sargent 80 Series exit device is a heavy-duty panic bar solution for metal doors in commercial and institutional buildings. Designed for environments demanding strong, durable security that lasts the life of the building, this rim-mounted device exceeds ANSI/BHMA Grade 1 requirements for cycle and strength while maintaining a maintenance-free design with few moving parts.
Compatible with metal doors 1.75 inches minimum thickness and 4.5 inch minimum stile width, this model features a J rail for 37 to 42 inch door widths and includes 650 top and 606 bottom strikes suitable for panic and fire-rated applications. Optional electric features support delayed egress, alarms, and latch monitoring.
