The Sargent 1956-8810E is a Grade 1 rim exit device engineered for wood and metal doors 1 3/4" thick. Ideal for facilities requiring durable, maintenance-free security, this single-point latching device handles both single and double door applications with mullions, delivering quiet operation and exceeding ANSI/BHMA Grade 1 cycle and strength requirements.
The E-rail configuration fits 24" to 32" door widths with no cutting required for 32" doors. Compatible with doors up to 48" when using alternate rail options (F, J, G).
