Description

The Sargent 1956-8810G is a Grade 1 rim exit device engineered for wood and metal doors requiring durable, maintenance-free security. Built with modular construction and few moving parts, it delivers single-point latching for both single and double door applications, meeting ANSI/BHMA standards and UL Fire and Panic listings for any facility.

This device fits 1-3/4" thick doors; thicker doors require a 31-prefix model. The G Rail configuration accommodates doors 43" to 48" wide with no cutting required for 48" doors.
