Description
The Sargent 6500 Series is a standard duty key-in-lever cylindrical lock engineered for interior and exterior doors in commercial and institutional buildings. It exceeds ANSI A156.2 Series 4000 Grade 2 requirements and accommodates door thicknesses from 1-3/8" to 1-3/4", making it ideal for offices, schools, hospitals, and multi-tenant properties where reliable keyed access control is essential.
This lock features a universal hand design, brass latch with 1/2" throw, and a 6-pin LA keyway cylinder. Standard 2-3/4" backset; 2-3/8" optional. Available finishes include polished brass, satin stainless, and others. Compatible with ANSI A115.2 (161) door prep and 600 curved lip strikes. Contact E.D.
