Designed for architects and building owners who demand ANSI/BHMA Grade 1 performance, it solves the challenge of reliable, consistent door closing across diverse applications with adjustable spring power (sizes 1-6) and versatile mounting options.
The 281 works with standard, top jamb, parallel and track installations, and retrofits existing Sargent 250 and 1250 Series closers. It is UL and CUL listed for fire doors, meets UL10C and UBC positive pressure standards, and includes a 10-year warranty.
