The Sargent 6500 is a standard-duty key-in-lever cylindrical lock engineered for office, institutional, and commercial interior doors. It meets ANSI A156.2 Series 4000 Grade 2 standards and fits doors 1-3/8" to 1-3/4" thick with a 2-3/4" backset, solving security needs for moderate-traffic applications where keyed control is essential.
This universal-hand lock features a brass 6-pin cylinder with LA keyway, steel zinc dichromate housing, and wrought brass front plate. It ships with two nickel silver keys and works with standard 600 curved-lip strikes in brass or stainless steel.
