Description
The Sargent 6500 series is a standard-duty key-in-lever lock built for interior and light-traffic commercial doors. Exceeding ANSI A156.2 Series 4000 Grade 2 standards, it fits doors 1-3/8" to 1-3/4" thick and solves security needs for offices, storerooms, and institutional facilities requiring reliable keyed access control.
This lock installs on ANSI A115.2 (161) modified preparation with a 2-3/4" backset (2-3/8" optional). Ships with universal hand, two keys, and a 6-pin LA keyway cylinder.
