Description
The Sargent 6500 Series is a Grade 2 key-in-lever cylindrical lock built to ANSI A156.2 Series 4000 standards. Designed for standard-duty applications on 1-3/8" to 1-3/4" thick doors, it combines wrought brass and stainless steel construction with universal hand operation, making it ideal for offices, schools, and commercial facilities requiring reliable keyed access control.
This lock ships with a 600 Curved Lip strike in brass or stainless steel, a 6-pin LA keyway cylinder, and two nickel silver keys. The 2-3/4" backset is standard; 2-3/8" is available. Installation follows ANSI A115.2 (161) Modified specifications with a 4-1/2" minimum stile. Contact E.D.
