The LCN 4040XP-3048 AL is a heavy-duty institutional door closer engineered for high-traffic facilities demanding maximum durability. Built with 44% increased bearing load capacity, a 3/4" pinion journal, and reinforced pinion teeth, this closer delivers superior performance in demanding applications. Its V-shield seal extends service life by 20%, while non-handed design and non-sized cylinder offer installation flexibility on interior doors to 5'0" and exterior doors to 4'0".
Mount on hinge side, top jamb, or parallel arm configuration on either right or left swinging doors. The 4040XP is UL and cUL listed, ANSI A156.4 grade one certified, and compatible with all 4040 accessories.
