The LCN 4040XP is a heavy-duty door closer arm engineered for institutional and high-traffic applications. With 44% increased bearing load capacity, a 3/4" journal diameter pinion, and a 5/8" bearing width, it delivers exceptional durability. The V-shield seal extends life by 20%, while double heat-treated steel components and all-weather fluid ensure reliable performance in demanding environments.
This left-hand unit mounts on hinge side, top jamb, or with a parallel arm bracket for doors up to 5'0" (interior) or 4'0" (exterior). UL and cUL listed per ANSI A156.4 Grade 1, it supports ADA compliance. Optional powder coat, plated, or SRI primer finishes are available.
