The LCN 4040XP-3049EDA is a heavy-duty door closer arm engineered for institutional and high-traffic applications. It features 44% increased bearing load capacity, the strongest pinion ever at 3/4" journal diameter, and an innovative V-shield seal with 20% longer life. Built from cast iron, forged steel, and double heat-treated steel pinion for maximum durability and reliability in demanding environments.
This non-handed closer mounts on hinge side, top jamb, or with parallel arm bracket on either right or left swinging doors. It adjusts for interior doors to 5'0" and exterior doors to 4'0", meets ADA requirements, and is UL and cUL listed to ANSI A156.4 grade one.
