With 44% increased bearing load capacity, the strongest pinion design ever, and a new V-shield seal with 20% longer life, this non-handed closer delivers superior durability and real world performance in demanding applications.
The 4040XP mounts on the hinge side, top jamb, or parallel arm position on right or left swinging doors, and adjusts for interior doors to 5'0" and exterior doors to 4'0". It is UL and cUL listed, ANSI A156.4 grade one certified, and available with optional SRI primer for corrosive environments.
