The LCN 4040XP is a heavy-duty door closer engineered for institutional and high-traffic commercial environments. Built with a cast iron body, forged steel arm, and double heat-treated steel pinion, it delivers reliable self-closing performance on interior doors up to 5'0" and exterior doors up to 4'0". This Grade 1 certified closer meets ADA requirements and handles demanding applications with all-weather fluid protection.
The non-sized cylinder is field-adjustable, making it compatible with most standard door frames. UL and cUL listed for self-closing doors without hold-open, it meets ANSI A156.4 standards.
