Description
The LCN 4040XP-REG is a heavy-duty surface-mounted door closer engineered for institutional, commercial, and high-traffic environments. Its extra-protection design features 44% increased bearing load capacity, the strongest pinion ever at 3/4" journal diameter, and a reinforced V-shield seal for 20% longer life. It solves the durability challenge in demanding applications where standard closers fail.
This closer is non-handed and adjusts for interior doors to 5'0" and exterior doors to 4'0". It mounts on the hinge side, top jamb, or with a parallel arm bracket on either right or left swinging doors, and meets ADA requirements. UL and cUL listed under ANSI A156.4 Grade One.
