The LCN 4040XP-REG is a heavy-duty surface-mounted door closer engineered for institutional and high-traffic environments. Its reinforced design features a 3/4 inch journal pinion, 5/8 inch bearing width, and V-shield seal technology for maximum durability and 20% longer seal life. This non-handed closer handles interior doors up to 5 feet and exterior doors up to 4 feet, solving reliability challenges in demanding applications.
The 4040XP mounts on the hinge side, top jamb, or with an optional parallel arm bracket on either right or left swinging doors. UL and cUL listed per ANSI A156.4 grade one, it features fast power adjust and accurate installation.
