The LCN 4040XP is a heavy duty door closer engineered for institutional and high traffic commercial environments. Built with cast iron body, forged steel arm, and double heat treated steel pinion, it delivers reliable self-closing performance in demanding applications. All weather fluid ensures year round operation on interior doors up to 5 feet and exterior doors up to 4 feet.
This closer meets ADA requirements and carries UL and cUL listing for self closing doors. It is tested and certified to ANSI Standard A156.4 Grade 1 for durability and safety. The non-sized, adjustable cylinder simplifies installation and field tuning.
