The LCN 4040XP is a heavy-duty surface-mounted door closer engineered for high-traffic institutional and commercial facilities. With 44% increased bearing load capacity, a reinforced 3/4" journal pinion, and an improved V-shield seal, it delivers superior durability and reliability where doors endure constant use and demanding conditions.
This non-handed closer installs on hinge-side, top-jamb, or parallel-arm configurations for both interior (up to 5'0") and exterior (up to 4'0") doors, and meets ADA requirements. It is UL and cUL listed under ANSI A156.4 Grade One. As an authorized LCN dealer, E.D.
