Description
The LCN 4040XP-XLONG is a heavy-duty surface-mounted door closer engineered for high-traffic institutional and commercial facilities. It features a reinforced pinion with 3/4" journal diameter, 5/8" bearing width, and V-shield seal technology for 20% longer service life. This non-handed closer handles doors up to 5'0" on interior applications and 4'0" on exterior applications, solving durability and performance challenges in demanding environments.
The 4040XP-XLONG mounts on the hinge side, top jamb, or parallel arm configuration for either right or left swinging doors, and meets ADA requirements. It is UL and cUL listed under ANSI A156.4 Grade One.
