The Sargent 80 Series exit device is a heavy-duty panic bar designed for metal doors in commercial and institutional buildings. This rim-mounted, right-hand reverse unit exceeds ANSI/BHMA Grade 1 strength and cycle requirements, delivering maintenance-free security with modular construction and minimal moving parts ideal for facilities demanding durability and reliability.
Fits metal doors 1-3/4" minimum thickness with 4-1/2" minimum stile width; the J rail accommodates 37"–42" door widths and factory-cuts to size. Compatible with Sargent 650 top and 606 bottom strikes (panic and fire-rated). Optional electric features include delayed egress, alarms, photoluminescent coatings, and remote latch retraction.
