The Sargent 80 Series exit device is a heavy-duty panic bar designed for metal doors requiring Grade 1 security and durability. Ideal for commercial facilities, schools, and high-traffic environments, it meets or exceeds ANSI/BHMA Grade 1 cycle and strength requirements. With modular construction and minimal moving parts, this device provides maintenance-free operation and reliable emergency egress control.
This model fits metal doors 1 3/4" to 2 1/4" thick and requires a 4 1/2" minimum stile width. Rail size depends on door width: E Rail (24-32"), F Rail (33-36"), J Rail (37-42"), or G Rail (43-48").
