Description
The Adams Rite 4900 Series Mortise Deadlatch provides flexible traffic control for commercial and institutional doors. This deadlatch allows two-way traffic during open hours and exit-only access at other times by reversing the key while the bolt is retracted. It solves the need for adaptable access without replacing hardware or modifying door frames.
The 4900 retrofits existing 4500/4700 preparations and interchanges with MS1850A or MS1850S deadbolts of matching backset and faceplate. Available in three cylinder backsets (31/32", 1-1/8", 1-1/2"), it ships with both flat and radius faceplates, strike, and mounting screws.
