The Adams Rite 4900 Series Mortise Deadlatch offers flexible traffic control for commercial doors requiring variable access patterns. With reverse-key operation to hold the bolt retracted, it enables two-way traffic during open hours and exit-only security at other times. Ideal for office buildings, hospitals, and facilities needing switchable access without hardware replacement.
This deadlatch retrofits existing 4500/4700 preparations and interchanges with MS1850A or MS1850S deadbolts of matching backset and faceplate. Available in three backsets (31/32 in., 1-1/8 in., 1-1/2 in.), it includes flat and radius faceplates, strike, and mounting screws.
