Description
The Sargent 80 Series exit device is a Grade 1 panic bar built for metal doors requiring durable, low-maintenance security. Ideal for commercial facilities, schools, and high-traffic environments, it combines modular construction with few moving parts to exceed ANSI/BHMA standards while providing reliable emergency egress and access control.
This rim-mounted device fits 1-3/4" minimum thickness doors and mounts 41" from finished floor (38" for schools). Rails come factory-cut for door widths 24-48". Optional electric features include alarm, delayed egress, remote latch retraction, and photoluminescent coatings.
