The Sargent 80 Series exit device is a heavy-duty panic bar designed for metal doors requiring Grade 1 security and durability. Ideal for commercial buildings, schools, and facilities with high-traffic exits, it provides reliable egress while exceeding ANSI/BHMA Grade 1 cycle and strength requirements. Modular construction with few moving parts ensures low maintenance and long-term performance.
This right-hand reverse (RHR) model fits doors 1-3/4" to 2-1/4" thick with 4-1/2" minimum stile width. Four rail sizes accommodate door widths from 24" to 48", factory-cut to specification. Electric options include alarm, beacon, photoluminescent coating, touchpad, latchbolt monitoring, and delayed egress.
