It protects vulnerable occupants—wheelchair users, elderly individuals, and children—by detecting movement in the door opening and holding the door open until the space clears. This right-hand unit mounts to frame face or soffit on doors 1.75–2.25 inches thick with butt or offset pivot hinges. It features hydraulic rack-and-pinion construction, adjustable hold-open time and sensor sensitivity, and fail-safe closure during power loss.
