The Adams Rite 7140-310-628-00 is an electrically unlocked electric strike for aluminum, hollow metal, or wood door frames. Ideal for facilities requiring remote access control, this fail-secure strike solves the challenge of integrating electronic locking with standard deadlatch and cylindrical latch hardware while maintaining security when power is lost.
This 12VDC unit is field-convertible between fail-secure and fail-safe modes and accepts Adams Rite 4500, 4900, and discontinued 4700 latches.
