The Adams Rite 8420LR-37242 is a life-safety exit device engineered for narrow stile aluminum doors requiring mortise locking. Built with an extruded aluminum pushbar available in multiple finishes, this non-handed device solves the challenge of combining emergency egress with secure access control on high-traffic commercial doors.
Compatible with door thicknesses from 1-3/4" to 2-1/4" and stile widths as narrow as 3-3/4", the 8420LR fits standard 30"-48" openings and door heights up to 8 feet (10-foot kit available separately).
