Description
The Adams Rite 8430-27342 is a mortise exit device designed for narrow stile aluminum doors on commercial and institutional buildings. With a 31/32" backset and right-hand reverse (RHR) handing, it solves the need for reliable egress hardware on doors up to 8 feet tall. The extruded aluminum pushbar is available in multiple finishes and fits standard door thicknesses from 1-3/4" to 2-1/4".
This device is compatible with standard rim cylinders and optional mortise cylinders (sold separately), and fits doors with minimum 3-3/4" stile width. Installation requires field reversible lever entry trim and standard self-tapping screws; optional sex bolt kits and dogging upgrades are available. As an authorized Adams Rite dealer, E.D.
