The Adams Rite 8430 is a mortise exit device designed for narrow stile aluminum doors on high-traffic commercial and institutional buildings. This left-hand reverse (LHR) unit features a 42-inch pushbar made of extruded aluminum and solves the critical need for reliable emergency egress on doors up to 8 feet tall, fitting standard 1-3/4-inch door thickness.
The 8430 suits doors with minimum 3-3/4-inch stiles and adjusts from 30 to 44 inches in bar height. It accepts standard rim cylinders and includes hex key dogging; optional cylinder and electric dogging are available. An authorized E.D.
