Description
The Adams Rite 8430 is a mortise-mounted exit device designed for narrow-stile aluminum doors up to 8 feet tall. Built for left-hand reverse (LHR) applications, it features an extruded aluminum pushbar with anodized black finish. This device solves code-compliance and emergency egress needs for commercial buildings, storefronts, and institutional facilities.
Compatible with standard 1-3/4" door thickness and minimum 3-3/4" stile width, the 8430 adjusts from 30" to 44" bar height and accepts rim cylinders for keyed control. Installation uses standard self-tapping screws or optional sex bolt kits.
