Description
The Adams Rite 8430 mortise exit device is a heavy-duty push bar designed for narrow stile aluminum doors up to 48 inches wide. Ideal for commercial facilities, this right-hand reverse (RHR) device provides reliable emergency egress with an extruded aluminum pushbar available in multiple finishes. It fits standard 1-3/4" to 2-1/4" door thickness and adjusts to accommodate bar heights from 30" to 44" on doors up to 8 feet tall.
The 8430 features a 1-1/8" backset, non-handed design with field-reversible lever entry trim for flexible installation. It accepts standard rim cylinders or optional mortise cylinders, and includes hex key dogging as standard.
