Description

The Sargent 8540E is a heavy-duty rim exit device designed for wood and metal doors in commercial and institutional buildings. It solves security and life-safety needs by combining ANSI/BHMA Grade 1 strength with modular, low-maintenance construction that performs reliably for the building's lifetime.

This left-hand reverse model fits 1 3/4" thick doors and works with E, F, J, or G rails depending on door width (24" to 48" without cutting). Optional features include delayed egress, alarmed exit, and electric latch retraction. Contact an authorized E.D.
