The Sargent 8706J is a rim exit device engineered for high-security applications in commercial and institutional buildings. Built to exceed ANSI/BHMA Grade 1 standards, this RHR (right-hand reverse) model delivers durability, low maintenance, and reliable emergency egress control for wood or metal doors 1 3/4" to 2 1/4" thick.
The 8706J accommodates E, F, J, and G rail options for door widths from 24" to 48", with no cutting required at standard widths. Modular construction minimizes moving parts and service costs.
