The Von Duprin 9827EO is a UL-listed surface-mounted vertical rod panic exit device engineered for single and double doors in commercial facilities. This ANSI A156.3 Grade 1 device solves emergency egress requirements with a smooth mechanism case, fitting standard hollow metal door cutouts (86" or 161"). It's ideal for hospitals, offices, retail, and institutional buildings needing reliable panic hardware.
Compatible with 86" and 161" hollow metal door cutouts, the 9827EO is non-handed (except with SD or SS options). Optional vertical rod and latch guards protect against cart or gurney impact damage.
