Description
The Securitron EMB-BK-48 is an electromechanical exit device designed for magnetically locked, non-fire-rated doors and delayed egress systems. Pressing the bar activates internal mechanical switches to release the lock, meeting code requirements for intuitive operation without special knowledge. The low-profile design requires only 1/4" of movement for activation and can be field-cut to fit openings up to 48".
Compatible with standard push bar mounting patterns used by TSB and DSB models, the EMB-BK-48 offers direct retrofit capability for many competitor installations. It includes redundant switches for fault-tolerant operation, a DPDT 5A output, and comes with 16 ft. of 22AWG 6-conductor cable plus armored door cord.
