The Norton 7500 Series JL7500H 690 is a heavy-duty surface-mounted door closer designed for interior and exterior applications where reliability and durability matter. Built with a cast aluminum body and non-handed rack-and-pinion mechanism, it's engineered to exceed 25 million cycles and handle demanding facility environments with independent controls for latch, sweep, and backcheck functions.
This closer installs on either hand of the door and projects only 2-3/16 inches from the surface. It features multi-size spring power adjustment (sizes 1-6), hex-key adjustable sweep and latch speed valves, backcheck cushioning, and delayed-action closing. The fluid formulation maintains stable viscosity in extreme temperatures from -40°F to high heat.
