The DormaKaba Simplex LR8148R-05-41 is a mechanical pushbutton lock designed for controlled access in offices, healthcare facilities, and commercial buildings. It eliminates keys, cards, and batteries: simply change the combination in seconds without removing the lock. Ideal for managing traffic between public and private areas with minimal maintenance.
This lock fits standard 86 mortise preparations on wood or metal doors (1¾" to 2¼" thick) with a 2¾" backset and ¾" latch. The fixed ADA-compliant levers meet accessibility standards, and vandal-resistant metal pushbuttons ensure long-term reliability. Fire-rated for 3-hour UL/ULC performance.
