The Falcon MA531L AN 625 is a heavy-duty mortise lock engineered for commercial environments including offices, hospitals, and educational facilities. It features an interchangeable core for quick re-keying, a mechanical anti-friction latch bolt with 3/4 inch projection, and a 1 inch deadbolt with saw-resistant rollers. Built for constant use, this ANSI/BHMA Series 1000 lock combines security and durability at an accessible price point.
The MA531L accommodates standard door thicknesses from 1 3/8 to 2 1/2 inches with a 2 3/4 inch backset. SFIC-compatible cylinders accept 5, 6, or 7-pin configurations. Right-hand handing is standard; left-hand and field-reversible options are available.
