The Falcon MA561B is a heavy-duty mortise lock designed for commercial environments including offices, hospitals, and educational facilities. This ANSI/BHMA Series 1000 lock delivers reliable security and durability for constant-use applications, featuring a two-piece stainless steel latch bolt, 1-inch throw deadbolt with saw-resistant rollers, and cold-formed steel construction that withstands years of demanding use.
The MA561B accommodates door thicknesses from 1-3/8" to 2-1/2" and includes an interchangeable core (SFIC compatible) for quick re-keying without removing the lock body. Backset is 2-3/4" only; right-hand handing is standard with left-hand available.
