The Sargent 80 Series MD8606J is a heavy-duty exit device designed for metal doors in commercial and institutional facilities. This left-hand reverse (LHR), 32-inch J-rail model provides Grade 1 panic hardware security with modular construction and minimal maintenance. Ideal for buildings requiring durable, code-compliant egress solutions that perform reliably throughout the building's lifetime.
Compatible with 1-3/4" minimum thickness metal doors and 4-1/2" minimum stile width. The device includes a 650 top strike and 606 bottom strike (panic and fire-rated), with stainless steel top bolt and standard hex key dogging. Optional features include alarm, photoluminescent coating, illuminated touchpad, remote latch retraction, and delayed egress.
