The Sargent 80 Series MD8615J is a heavy-duty exit device engineered for metal doors in commercial and institutional buildings. This left-hand reverse, rim-mounted device exceeds ANSI/BHMA Grade 1 standards and features modular construction with minimal moving parts, making it maintenance-free and ideal for facilities demanding reliable panic hardware that will protect building occupants for decades.
Compatible with metal doors 1 3/4 inches to 2 1/4 inches thick, the J-rail accommodates 37 to 42 inch door widths and installs with supplied machine screws. The device includes a 650 top strike and 606 bottom strike for fire-rated applications.
