The Sargent 80 Series MD8615J is a rim-mounted exit device engineered for commercial and institutional buildings demanding Grade 1 security and durability. Ideal for metal doors 1.75" to 2.25" thick, this left-hand reverse (LHR) unit with J-rail (37-42" door widths) provides maintenance-free operation with modular construction and few moving parts, exceeding ANSI/BHMA Grade 1 cycle and strength requirements.
This device mounts to standard metal doors with supplied machine screws and ships with 650 top and 606 bottom strikes rated for panic and fire applications. Electric options include alarm, beacon, photoluminescent coating, touchpad, latch monitoring, and delayed egress.
